Mora

From installation to your first voice-over.

Prepare the application and its model resources first. Then use a short script to check the voice and refine the delivery before working on a longer passage.

Check the computer and available space

Use Windows 11, 64-bit, with a compatible NVIDIA graphics card and driver. Choose an installation disk with enough space. The initial model resources are about 8.9 GB, so reserve at least 10 GB beyond the application itself.

Keep the installation files together

Consult the download and installation page for package information. Put the installer and all matching .bin files in the same folder and keep their original names. Run the installer, then keep the network connected while the first model resources are prepared in the selected application directory.

Create a project and listen by sentence

  1. Create a project and import the script. Check sentence breaks and punctuation.
  2. Select a voice reference you are authorized to use for the narrator or character.
  3. Generate a short passage and listen to each sentence.
  4. Adjust the wording, emotion or rhythm of lines that need revision.
  5. Regenerate the changed sentences and listen through the passage.
  6. Save the project and export the finished audio.

Refine the part that needs attention

Compare individual revisions before changing a larger section. See Mora features for the role of sentence editing, voice references and project saving.
